whats so bad about having setups where its optimal for PR to hide instead of claiming on d1 and getting the hammer every day of the game like vdli? thats all im asking for.
also i listed one. basic logic. or if it isnt called that, the setup with miller and blue and 2 cops with wills. i cant link now becacuse im typing this on my tablet.

Epicmafia has always centered around setups involving heavy reliance on PRs, however that doesn't mean that makes it an excuse to not scumhunt for yourself. If you want to blame people for blaming the clear and depending on them too much, then blame the current meta.
basic variant is one. B2ns is one. any setup that doesnt have a PR that can stick around the entire game , like cop and doc combo , is not entirely reliant pon PR or at least the blues have a chance to contribute to the decision.
PR doesnt HAVE to listen to blues but if none of the blues get to make the final choice since PR stays around all game then thats a negative thing IMO.
its fine to have a clear that can lead town but sometimes you get a stubborn clear that refuses to budge. or a clear that just plain sucks and then the game is lost before it begins.
also kittenz is still an inherently broken setup even with a stalker. in fact stalker adds more chances for mafia to screw up because watcher can catch the stalker. bomb = perma clear that can just claim.. so then you all whisper to the bomb because its so fun , as bomb,, to have to keep track of 8 people whispering you. and its boring as town because you have to wait for bomb to sort out all the claims. and then you sheep bomb. because scumhunting!
vdli and kittenz both have this problem where its optimal for pr to cliam isntead of hide.. and they are PRs that arent favorable for mafia to kill usually so they stick around the whole game and the game usually ends up being the sole decision of whoever flipped bomb/orc/bp.
what ever happened to setups like basic logic , or what ever that one was called that had wills and 2 cops? reports only matter a little and town still has to hunt and PRs cant just outright claim.
