Asking for a Friend :(

TayTayTodayover 7 years ago

My friend is gay and he wants to rush a fraternity, he was really excited to... However, my gay friend's friend who's a brother there told him he shouldn't try because he's too feminine and wouldn't fit in.

Should my gay friend still try to join a fraternity or give up and hang himself?

Does a fraternity cost money to join?

That is also a possibility. If you even want to see sixty straight men doing the gayest shit humanly possible, join a fraternity. You'll be right at home.

I am gay as well, and I have seen enough gay ͏p͏o͏r͏n͏o͏g͏r͏a͏p͏h͏y to be certain that he will absolutely love being part of a fraternity, and he should start readying himself TODAY.

Being in a fraternity is one of the greatest ways of meeting new people.

I was in a fraternity in college, we had gay guys in our fraternity and we didn't care. As long as he's looking for brotherhood it doesn't matter what your sexuality is. Being in a fraternity allows you to meet people of all walks of life and all circumstances. If he rushes then he'll have an opportunity of finding the fraternity that's best for him.

Also, I hope that joke about suicide was in jest, and that this isn't a troll post.

If your friend wants to join a fraternity then he should go for it, college is a time to enjoy yourself and meet new people. Please don't view suicide as an alternative. Talk to people you trust about how you feel or get involved in a community like this or a club near you. Getting into a fraternity isn't the be-all or end-all in life. It helps to talk to people to get perspective and to see what other activities or ways you can be included.
