Petition to Rotate Setups

over 6 years

Okay, okay, maybe asking to ban Guns and Hookers was a bit pretentious of me. How about this: A petition for mods to look at and inject new setup blood into the stickies/featured/comped setups so that we don't just play the same over and over?

This way, everyone wins! Oldies get their nostalgia, new people don't get bored, and setup makers get recognition! This could be done in many ways. Voting on setups to add, like a democracy, or a forum where maybe once a month people post setups they've made to try and get them stickied/comped/featured!

RedSaber says

Btw BlackSnakeMoan, why not just make that thread anyways, instead of asking someone to make a petition to do it?

ReSaber made the thread, then posted a complaint about BSM not posting it, then deleted the thread

What a weirdo

If someone else makes it I'll upkeep it and post around asking for suggestions.

My forums are cursed.

honestly, start a thread to vote on new features every week. We don't mind doing it, it takes about 5 seconds to change it. The problem is that even when we feature setups, people still play GnH and Fancy Pants 90% of the time, and features don't get playtime.

I'd love it if there was like a "Featured New Setup" that was a recent community creation or at least something that hasn't gotten much love.

comped setups are up to the people who win each round but i don't see anything wrong with featuring new setups
