yeah i got really really confused when everyone SRd me, then rejected my mission, and proceeded to accept the same mission but replacing a big TR with me
Therefore I knew I couldn't go through with the original mission proposed by Ginga of Myself Jack Arisuu Lelmoo since this would mean that I'd have to fail against an incredibly townie group of 3 (Lel Ari Jack), therefore I had to get that rejected and then get rid of townie Jack and put Ginga in the mission with myself, Lel, and Arisuu, knowing Ginga would likely let me fail it solo, gaining a second point and having an easy way to blame it on Ginga by bringing up a weapon I saved in my back pocket since the start: Mission One had two scum, meaning it was Ginga, clearing me of Mission 3 mischief, making the game a foolproof scum win since I'd make mission 5. Pretty much when I figured out Jack was Merlin I just had to keep him out of Mission 3 so he could only get false information from it, making me impenetrable. That was probably an annoying read for anyone who got through all of it and I hate to sound braggy or insufferable, I'm just passionate about the game in general and it was hard to keep everything in and not be able to genuinely share feelings, hence why HighSpace got multiple confessionals from me.
This game all depended on me getting the mission I wanted for mission 3. I feel I could have won regardless of whether I got my way or not for mission 3, but I knew that it was a surefire cakewalk if I did. The thing that made it difficult was that I had to get everyone to doubt Ginga and reject his mission and then being able to flip flop well enough to get them to accept my mission that had Ginga on it, right after getting everyone to DOUBT Ginga enough to reject his mission. I'm not sure how familiar everyone is with the mechanics of this but Merlin (who I assume is Jack and I'll go into why later, and it's not as simple as "oh he had good reads") knows 3/4 scum from before the game even starts, but they don't know one scum, that scum was me. The issue was that my partners voted me through on Mission 2 and I was only scum on mission, meaning that in order to fail the mission and get the point, I had to be willing to clear Elfen Bob and Arisuu to Merlin. This was frustrating because both Bob and Elfen were easy to try to make look scummy and now they were gonna be clear. Couldn't risk losing the point though and having to win the mission 4 two Fails needed mission, so I failed mission 2 and cleared 3 people to Merlin (because I was positive none of the 3 cleared were Merlin themselves). This automatically put me in a 1/3 to Merlin, who I assumed was Jack because he started to TR Bob, who he shouldn't have if he was ignorant town imo.
