Chapter 1. The Awakening

A cloaked figure sits high upon a hilltop. She look out upon a clearing. The villages are on fire. The land has been suffering. If there is to be any hope for this world the guardians will have to be awoken.

She turns to gaze upon a stone monolith, sleeping, frozen in time, overgrown, and forgotten.

She raises her hands to the sky and shouts "Allez Le Gardien" With a flash of light the Earth shakes, the trees sway, and branches break.

The Dino Guardian arises!

The cloaked figure falls to the ground. "I am the mystical maiden. I have used the last of my power to awaken you. You must save this land, it will be a perilous quest, you'll need the help of the other guardians or you will certainly perish." The Mystical Maiden appears to be fading away. "Remember I'll always be with you..." And she was gone.
