Just wanted to give an update on this. The family avatar uploads are not broken, but it looks like it takes 5-7 days for avatar changes to take effect.
As I mentioned earlier, it's most likely due to cloudflare's static file caching.

It's very likely that Cloudflare is caching static files. So the family avatars you see might be cloudflare's cached version instead of one coming from the server.
i tried all those things, and none of it has worked. the size of the file is 7.55kb
i honestly think it's a glitch
so admins what's up?!
things that can cause this error:
file extensions: try converting the image to a png or jpg.
file sizes: if it's over a certain file size (not dimension). compress the image.
file name: if the name of your file is the same as what your current avi is, sometimes it won't update. try renaming the file or wiping your avatar clear and then uploading.

nope still hasn't changed
that happened to me when i tried to upload a weird file type. try doing a different image like your avatar and see if it works

it's not giving me an error either, it's just saying "your family has a new avatar now" but then it doesn't
what's the size and file type you're trying to upload
