Howdy guys, so yesterday, we had a bit of a situation come to our attention and as a result of the matter, TrickyNicky has been banned for the duration of a month. I’m not going to go into details, however, just know that when allegations were made, there was some proven dishonesty in his answers.
We’ve got guidelines here and we expect everyone to follow them accordingly and appropriately because we do take certain matters seriously. While it’s trusted he’ll remain banned, we’ll be needing you guys’ to ensure no bypassing of any kind is done.
The premade rule has a special thread which goes into a lot more detail regarding stuff like this. If you really want to pursue reporting soda for breaking that rule and ruining the competitive integrity of a game, feel free to provide me with evidence and we can have a discussion about it. But my initial judgement is that it wouldn't amount to much.
The idea of having rules and guidelines in the lobby isn't because we want to ban people - it's so that we can point to them when something really needs to be done. I don't think consistency should really be a concern here. It's a small community, and trying to be consistent across the board whenever something comes up isn't really going to be productive because pretty much everything we do establishes a new precedent. The goal is to be lenient/forgiving but fair, and if you ever feel like a decision that has been made was unfair, then we're open to complaints and able to have a civilized discussion about it.
And I know you're kind of joking, but I feel like what you said is still an observation which deserves a serious answer.
it's not like there shouldn't be rules, but imo in a lobby like this the community should be able to know when somethings array. and, given there is now a situation at hand, and the situation at hand was arguably handled well, I don't really see a problem with just following generic, common sense rules.

I mean, we already had the general rules listed for the lobby- they're with the rest of the other Important Threads. They might not be explicit, but you can generally guess and read between the lines.
We are/have been trying to get the necessary tools.
Unlike the Main lobby, we don't have the mod tools to IP check players, so we need help from the community to find him if he tries to bypass his ban. Can't think of another reason this was posted, really.
And it's been a while since Tricky has been banned from the vivor lobby, and he has yet to say anything about it on other lobbies or on skype, which suggests to me that whatever allegations on him are true.
I don't know about you, but I'd trust cjn's judgment here.
Unless he actually plays with said alt, charley, persecuting him for it is pointless. Also on that note, it doesn't imply people aren't on top of things so no need to make implications such as that.
Given the situation, whether you know what happened or not, it doesn't change the fact that we do take things seriously. Clearly some felt otherwise and now its clear that we do actually do something. You don't necessarily have to know what happened as of right now to get the point of what this is.
As far as the latter portion of your message is concerned, we're already dealing with it

The fact he has made a new alt already to play in survivor lobby aswell cjn isnt exactly on top of things. Cosmo if i wanted to know i could probably easy find out its just why would you even make a thread announcing it if you're not going to tell people why. He has the right to appeal these things and if people can stand up for him and have proof he didnt do what he did then it should be announced what he did.
And if it is what everyone is saying (that he rigged for his girlfriend) a full lobby ban is bloody ridiculous.. ban him from hosting.
If you are going to treat this like every other lobby then get proper mods and have a proper report system.
Tbh if hes being unbanned we have every right to know why if we are going have to play with him in the future. Also if you werent going to give us a legit reason you shouldn't have bothered making a thread about it. I understand you say someone is involved that doesn't want to be mentioned but..If you help someone cheat in main your banned too :))
