It's an incredibly poignant (and cutting) article about how the website itself has become the game. I think you're really missing out by not reading it, and I have a lot of respect for the author of this.

How can anyone read this whole thing? I'd rather swallow dry ice then sit and read an article about eris fake killing himself and em lore.
Can't believe how underappreciated this article was as I read through this thread, being as it was a clinical dissection of this website by a professional journalist who works for Public Radio International.
I genuinely consider this a piece of literature. It was absolutely enthralling, and the single most interesting thing to ever come out of this website. To the author, bravo. I might be biased as a member of epicmafia, but this strikes me as innovative journalism.
