Town PR's will be afraid of getting rid of it. So a town can be forced to accept pony's existence.
... and then Pony can lie about how many people it has befiriended in games with several factions. Thus, it can befirend a maf and come out on top of both sides.
This role has YET ANOTHER grueling weakness: masons.
I dont really follow that logic, or understand how Pony causes an auto loss for town. And its really no different from a fool claiming d1 with no town sided killing roles
It's not really comparable to a cultist. When you think of a role's objective and methid: A cult plays to achieve majority, away from the town's attention. Not necessarily to survive. They're a major player in faction altering role. Cult being dropped down like flies because of a shot to the leader is something that happens maybe 75% of times randomly even. Pony, on the other hand, is more on the opposite field of the survivor, but with the same objective. The survivor has to stay away from attention if wants to survive, and got the ability to do so, the ability to hide behind other players. No matter the faction results, as long as it is alive at the end, it won. Same goes for pony, but rather than surviving by hiding, it survives by announcing itself, and making those who know about it NOT want to see it dead. - Pony has one very grueling weakness though. Player A is befriended. A tells everyone who the pony is. Person with gun shoots pony. No one dies.
Pony is nothing like a cultist. 1, it doesnt convert. 2, It can win with other factions. 3, Town doesnt want to lynch it unless necessary; same goes for scum and nightkilling. 4. The players they befriend dont necessarily win with the pony.
Or is it just poor wording for the automatic action?
I'm not sure which would be better.
