notes are for when high profile players deserve a 1st vio

i bet this will get a note. it's a shame cody weighed in before i could make my prediction because that will pretty much confirm it but i think that's what it was destined to get.

he probably didn't do it to cheat though. even if you're giving vios based on intention rather than outcome he doesn't get a vio. but it was still careless, and people get gt vios for accidently throwing.

the posted information, although technically containing no information about the last mafia, could have informed reads for the three live towns if seen. as such, i believe it is grounds for a note. please do not communicate with living players as a dead player in ranked games about any game related matters.

the warning you'd be getting is to not talk about a game in progress and to wait for the game to be over.

you can give him a vio (like you should) or give him a note (which you can) because that is how the OGI rule has been modded in the past and should probably continue to be

you can argue its a dumb rule, but its not hard to refrain until your game is over

it may or may not have impacted the game, but you are not to post of anything about the game until its over. i mean if you want to get technical, its a jan game and caroline wasn't absolutely '100%' clear

saying that this should be no vio is like saying if someone tries to throw a game but doesn't succeed then they shouldn't get a vio

I've been here long enough to know not to post game info that affects the current game. Everything I posted was criticising your terrible decisions in that game and was in no way trying to influence the outcome of the game.

A warning is given as a reminder to a player to not do something again. I did not and never tried to influence the game, which is why a warning is not needed. Listing why you messed up in that game is not vio-able and trying to exploit a loophole for vios is mod abuse

The information posted was not game changing and was literally listing every bad decision caroline made in the game.

Doesn't the OGI rule exist to prevent players from using outside information to affect the results of a game? Nothing I did affected the games results and if you guys are vioing simply because the rule says so (on a technicality withou actually affecting the game results in any way), then don't you need to reevaluate why the OGI rule is there in the first place?
