There are actual 2 good strategies. 1) Mafia hook the cop claim watcher as you did. That way if done correctly town gain no knowledge of the fake claim or town get watcher cc's. 2) Hooker votes first, hooks and shoots cop. Either doc saves and cop is hooked in which case town have to lynch with 6 people alive and town have close to no information. Or cop dies and watcher catches hooker on report, where hooker cc's watcher. Leading to a 50/50 between the watcher claims. Even if they lynch correctly they end at 3 way lylo without a clear.
