I'll put it another way... if the number of mafia + fool are equal to the number of town left, the mafia and fool can force no lynch, leading to a townie dying next night. At that point, there are 2 mafia, 1 fool, and 2 town, so voting off the fool results in both a win for the fool and mafia. I don't agree that you should get a violation for this.

You seem honestly confused so I'll let you know what went wrong with that game .... the thing is, mafia can joint with with the fool (which was me). Had you voted "no one" with your partner and me, then we would have forced a no lynch and then you guys could kill the vig and you, your partner, and I would have won. Except you chose to pick your partner and killed him ... therefore you lost as well ... and I did too..... and that's called gamethrowing when you do that on purpose. It seems like you were really just confused so you can try and explain that but most likely the game will get reported so we can get our hearts refunded.
