it makes more sense to encourage widespread waste and meat reduction rather than a waste/meat-free lifestyle. they're both more economically accessible/viable and it's an easier lifestyle shift than a cold turkey cessation which can be less accessible, especially when it comes to waste.
as a fellow borderline foot-phobe i want to agree with you and i personally would never wear those things because i'm committed exclusively to black sneakers and brown boots but with the right outfit they would look cute. 2 bad no one knows what the hell they're doing and if they should be wearing open toed shoes in public.
