I am busy today but tomorrow have an idea for new setups. I will make a thread
@D3x, I have a lot of things to talk about! Will be mainly focusing on the round in the next podcast, as I am only being interviewed, not çonducting any interviews, since I won a trophy this past round. But I will find time to talk about other things too. Podcast #3 will be my first full podcast as I'm not running this round and can participate in it as a regular participant once it ends.
There is. New setups and/or Variants of existing setups can be allowed for comp after a green light from the round mod. They can be discussed on. If I remember correctly, your setup "I hate myself and you too" was comped in such circumstances, will.
I think both your setups will be fine,..ik the Lynch or Be Lynched varient may make some ppl uncomfortable b/c it the first setup looks like classic. But neither side knows the setup,..besides the doc if its the first setup. It looks like it would be balanced.
I think the mods probably de-comp'd them because there is no strat.
I was told a setup needs 200 plays to be comped, that's a lot
50 plays is when the point values for a setup change from the 60/60 default
https://epicmafia.com/setup/761033 This has been comped three times already but I wpuldn't be able to comp it with the new rules. We're not gonna see (as) much new stuff with this barrier here I don't think
Anyway, I respect the moderators' decisions. I will make a thread soon and lead a discussion about comping requirements, for future rounds potentially. I'll put up two other setups later tonight

Well there goes my other one too.... not sure how we're supposed to comp original setups when they either don't get enough plays to be comped or the winrates sometimes get skewed in reds. That being said, I also haven't had time to host my setups in reds, so maybe that is something to try in the future.
You never needed a minimum number of plays to comp something before though; kind of takes away from being able to comp two setups of your choice a little bit. I understand the factor of not wanting an unbalanced setup comped, but still, most of the time the eye test is plenty fine when it is run by the mods.
I really like new setups getting comped. Now, it seems like we are getting another boring Jan round. I don't dislike Jan 2.0, but it's not that fun and it hogs every round it's in.
dont both of these have like 0 plays, and the 2nd one isnt even a variant, think theirs a new rule that no matter it has to have like 50/100+ plays or sth
This is news to me; I used to love comping new setups so they could get played more. Is this a new rule? It's hard to find true balance hosting setups in red hearts. In past rounds, if a comped setup ended up being really unbalanced, the solution was to just decomp it
The 1st one is the variant of Jan 2.0. The 2nd one is an attempted remaster of one of the first setups I ever created, and it is an original setup.

I've comped a variant of Janitorial 2.0 as I see that Melancholy has comped Jan 2.0, so people have a choice between that one and a new variant. I also comped another setup that I've been waiting to try out for a while. My setups are subject to change; I might change them before the start of the new round. Feel free to play them if you have time and see if you enjoy them, so I know whether or not I should leave them there for the upcoming round.
Glad I got to show what The Canadian Sniper can do, lol
Congrats to melancholy and Ravennn too!
This was a really interesting round. It was borderline painful earlier on and I had to really work to stay in contention. There was even one point I considered ending my run (I was 12-10 at that point on Day 5) but kept going, and I enjoyed the end half of it. Definitely had to work hard for this one.
Doing all my YouTube videos, EM Live Season 1, and having people watch my content/content I've been a part of has really had an affect on how people read and view me I think. Trying to figure that out, how people are viewing and reading me differently because of that (or just in general), and adapting my gameplay accordingly as best as I can has been a difficult challenge, but also a fun one, and it's something I haven't ever really had to go through during a run before. It was challenging as both alignments for sure.
