its less of a genre and more of a community, really!! vocaloid is really just a program with some silly anime mascots...as long as you use that program it can be classified as vocaloid music ^__^

how did you develop an interest in this music?

umm i dont really remember!! the first time i heard of vocaloid i was like, 10-ish and it was on a warrior cats oekaki board but i didnt get really into it until like 2015/2016...! theres no particular way i got into it i just heard some songs and was like Hey this sh*t slaps and then i looked into it more i guess!

i dont listen to chinese vocaloid :pensive: maybe its because im so accustomed to jpn/english lyrics and chinese just sounds a lil weird against my ear but thats a personal thing. i love the vsingers though they literally own my heart. dont listen to em though just love their designs

btw the reason the lyrics + video for that song are based around pasta is because its a promo video for an event that happened a while back idr what it was but it had something to do with napolitan which is a japanese pasta dish. anyways there were a few other vocaloid producers who were hired to make promo songs too
