Forum Mafia T : Bloody Olympics

Hello lads,

The forum mafia IV will be hosted next month, in the meantime I have a fun setup i would like to host.

The game will be different than the forum mafias for two reasons :

  • This is not an informed minority (maf) vs uninformed majority (town) game. This game will pit two teams of 6 people against each other, with 1 president and 5 pr each, with a third party player, for a total of 13.
  • This is an Open Setup, meaning every role in play (except the third party) will be known from the start.

The game will be focused much less on mechanics and more on reads (associative reads, as people don't know their partners, they only know their president), so this game will require participation and posting from all players.

As soon as we reach 13 confirmed players the roles will be sent out and the game will begin on the following day.

Day 1 will last 96 hours, other days will last 72. Nights will be as quick as people input their actions, there is no private chat. Daystart of course.

I won't oppose the brothers outing. However since there is still so much time in this day we can wait a bit longer to see if others really agree on having them out

it would be a good starting point since they can confirm each other, but keep in mind that also cuts down the possibility to who the presidents are. it's a give and take.

whether you even believe me or not, i'm painting myself as a high value role for both teams. better to keep me in longer than get rid of me if i'm admitting to having such a useful ability.

i was going to say this is another example of steelix just sloppily saying whatever for rushed reactions-- but that was a smart move on his part. he's pretty much forcing me to cut down the list of possibilities my role could be.

i'll bite and cut it down for you even more. no, i am not the half brother for either team. he's lying about that. but i will say that i do have the last stand ability. do what you will with that info.

don't have much of a reaction towards steelix's vote on me. don't want to throw my team color out just yet. i see it as sloppy and rushed rxn'ing.

of course we don't nl with two presidents in game like this, you have to think more carefully than that. each day counts and as the thread even says itself-- this IS a scumhunting game. this is heavily reliant on reads so we need to explore our options more thoroughly before just all agreeing to NL here.

i don't understand the people who just want to do it just to see what happens next day.

nling isn't that good but having to vote without good read is also not good considering most people haven't spoken yet. steelixmega outing his role as well....... or it can be "wifom", depends which way you look at it. imo I think thundurus has been making sense on his reads but its early days to judge so ill wait for others to speak up.
