Veteran's Day should be to commemorate our struggles as humans. After all, we are all involved in a war called life.

Think about this, and don't forget that there is someone out there that cares about you even if it seems like no one does.

Well it's also not exactly tolerant and fair yet

We weren't free, we weren't represented in a way that expressed our beliefs. We had to fight against the largest power to gain independence and make a society that was meant to be tolerant and fair.

If you want to make your own holiday go and do it, but why are you explicitly trying to takeover a day meant to honor warriors.

I'd quote you with the raised hands emoji, but it is 2011 and emoji don't work here yet.

Um, naw, Veteran's Day is to commemorate veterans. If some of yall wanna compare your war on the computer, or your way over Jenniffer at work (I mean, she *knows* it's your parking space, how can she not?) to actual war... I mean, be my guest.

Good news, though, there are many holidays, official and unofficial, that you can fit to "our struggles as humans."
