oh i knew it was a joke haha... that's why i upvoted...
It was 50% a joke thread (I secretly think caps filter is a good idea, but should be toggeable or only enabled in comp games)
I also don't mind it per say for the most part, but understand the arguements other people make for the most part. I'd argue that for a start it should be disabled in unranked (and maybe ranked) games while a more permanent solution is established. Specifically I feel as though the caps filter problem stems from a certain level of toxicity of the community that needs to be dealt with rather than filtered away. (But I do agree some words should be filtered, such as biggoted hate speech)
Some of us don't play competitively. We come here just to relax and have fun, so not even being given the option to turn off that filter ruins some of the fun and atmosphere.
Same. Maybe just turn the filters on during comp games.

ok i struggle not using caps at all, there should just be a caps spam filter lol
also i understand how you feel Songin, im glad its helping you! i wish we could toggle it so the option was available for everyone. i like seeing caps...and i mostly play unranked so i think the atmosphere surrounding competition is different
This is not unpopular at all, I have many anonymous sources telling me the filter helped them healthily express their opinion. People can now stop blaming their inability to scumhunt on not being able to read the chat due to caps spam.
Sometimes, I wistfully look back to my sombre days where I loved bombarding people with caps, trying to make heads and tails of any nonsense I threw at them. But maybe this filter is present for the greater good of humanity.
Now you don't need to be a caps warrior to get your point across to someone else. You just need a brain, which people are slowly learning to use. Humanity is progressing and this change is bringing us a step closer to a better version of our current selves.
