So I decided to bring up a topic that I ran into when playing a ranked game. It was the idea of roleswapping. So what is roleswapping? If you try roleswap, rs, roleswapping, or any combination of the following, you will notice that the game doesn't automatically underline the word with a dotted line that normally appears when you type blue or omgus. The reasoning behind this is because role swapping isn't considered an authentic part of epicmafia.
If you're pseudo intellectual and your parents pay people money to have them tell you that you're actually good at what you do, then you might actually believe that role swapping is a good idea. So what's the problem with role swapping? Well let's explain what role swapping is to begin with. First, out of everybody in the game who has no idea who anybody else is, apparently innocents have a magical six sense that tells them when to pretend they are a role when mafia can easily do the same and not be counter claimed because the real holder of the role will "believe" they are roleswapping. Rather or not someone role swaps serves only one purpose and that's giving mafia the potential to claim cop or another important power role without being counter claimed and thus making them look more credible than the power role.
What if you don't role swap? If you don't role swap and some communist decides somehow that they're a genius if they game throw, they won't be able to use the excuse of role swap. This is legit the only reason role swapping is a term that exist right now. If you go to town of salem, throne of lies, trouble in terrorist town, space station 13, murder, or any other dongaronpa, you will likely be killed and eventually banned from the game. Basically role swapping is like when someone randomly ask in a bar if someone named Mike Roach is here and a random stranger says that's him just to mess with you without being serious while the real Mike Roach walks out of the restroom later. It's an assumption that only mafia are trying to role fish and not villagers. It serves no purpose, just like two phase motors.
