Classic setup that's balanced and that everyone enjoys. You already attempted to blacklist it once, why do it again? Nothing wrong with this role-list, at least give a reason you disallowed it out of the blue.
I was actually going to push for this to be featured.
If illu slowrolls, then deputy can get reads. Deputy can think about WHO would slowroll, and who's maftelling. If deputy gets reads and doesn't random shoot it's not 3/5, the odds of shooting mafia are much higher.
Whenever illu slowrolls, it usually ends with illu being shot by dep, and therefore town getting autowin. If you want to risk dep getting a read on you and shooting you for auto, then sure, "hold your gun". It's far from optimal lmao, what's optimal is illu reading for dep and shooting them, then towntelling the hell out of their cc.
But you have the issue of mafia holding out their gun into the next day, or until a dep shoots. In fact it's extremely optimal for mafia to do this if they want a good shot of winning.
Town can EASILY win if they play it even semi-optimally. The reason mafia has a high winrate is because of the deps who yolo shoot before illu starts the game (3/5 chance of hitting town) and causing an autoloss.
Playing it right, it's just two 1/2 ccs, with a guaranteed clear in every case. It's scumreading perfected. Anyway thanks for un-blacklisting it, it's really a great setup!
