Over the course of the time I have been on EM (a few months only), I have seen many players come and go. Most people join briefly and leave after a month or two. As someone who is considering quitting, what I have been wondering is what most drives people to stop playing.
Which of the following has caused you or people you know to want to leave the site the most?
9 years ago when I first joined I stepped right into ranked and there was some player who was trophy running at that time and he told me I was awful and that I should quit.
I knew I wasn't awful, I was just learning and would be better than him in no time and I refuse to listen to him in that game and in any game after that, I'll never listen to what he tells me to do because he was rude.
So when the days pour by and I'm still here sticking around it's because some guy told me to leave the site and I say NO! I think i'll stay! Thank you very much!

i usually leave when i'm bored. i'd come back mid comp round, stay for the next one and run, and leave. EM was something i played when i was bored of other games. a palate cleanser.

to be fair, 2 of them are the same person and 1 of them is a troll
i dont wanna name names ye but theirs a few users who are real cunnts. The mod circlejerk is real. Worst thing is they'll openly admit it and the cunnt nathan cant do anything cos hes a cuck. He's also a nice dude so god forbid if anyone calls him out and when mods do get called out theyll try to make a joke and a few mod kissers will join in and that's the end of that.
when i was a noob, the very first reason that i wanted to quit was because i was not reported but a mod searched the game for something else and gave me a vio for ogi when i had no idea that there were even rules on this game. people were also very mean overall
the toxicity/harassment has been a constant reason that i wanted to quit later
finally the mods/admins harassing me and allowing others to harass me is a reason i have quit but came back
some ppl leave cuz they r hiding from someone else

Reasons to quit:
The playerbase is more toxicity from when I joined. The toxicity makes it quite boring to play, having to sit in tables of people you don't know, don't like or just can't stand for 10-20+ minutes a game throughout the day. Eventually I found other stuff to do and find myself only checking the site just to see posts. You could say that one thing leads to another and inevitably you just don't even remember the site or want to even see it.
You're right. If you have been banned, just vote what made you not come back.

you probably should have added something about how the site is ran/not ran by lucid, admids, and mods. also something about was banned and left over it
