I agree with SirAmelio. I'd say many of the infant attacks could have been stopped if the parents actually cared for the safety of their child. However, I'd also argue that pit bulls have been vilified in recent media history. Since pit bulls are a popular dog for underground dog fighting, they may have been bred to be better fighters which could lead to their attacks being more dangerous. I don't believe pit bulls are natural killers though. Either way the attacks are a fault of the owner of the dog and the parents of the child attacked.

on one hand i agree that pitbulls are awful, on the other hand i also think that pitbulls attacking infants could be prevented with decent parenting
