I would have credited all of the sounds that I got from freesound.org, but I edited the originals to the point of making my own original.
So intro: Me with Mom coughing in background Simba: Me Timon: Me, with some repeating Pumbaa: Me (no change in pitch or speed; all characters were mass recorded and then shuffled to make the editing possible) Pen tapping: Me, warped Children laughing: Freesound with warping and my own audio layer Piano: Freesound, warped and retimed. Saxophone: Freesound, warped, retimed, parts cut off and looped. Synth: Freesound, warped, retimed, mixed with pen taps, ending looped.
Also calm down please. It doesn't appear likely that I am winning this anyways. I am completely new to this and it is just for fun, keep that in mind. If you mind your own business, I can mind mine.
First off, let me address the original issue. If you have a question that you need pressingly answered, you should include all of the administration (hosts and judges), so that we can get back to you in a timely manner. All of us are in different time zones and available at different times of the day, so this really is best for you and for us. If the matter is trivial, you may still PM, but you may be better served posting it in the thread (as others may be able to answer the question, or the answer to your question may already be in the thread)
As to songs, we have already stated that if there is an issue with the song choice, we will contact you. Please try to stay within guidelines beforehand to the best of your ability, but we will let you know that the choice is outside the realm of the contest (see earlier post by Luis regarding "Life is a Highway"). We will let you know in a timely manner, and, situation depending, may ensure you have time to resubmit if it seems the inappropriate choice was due to lack of clarity on our part.
We appreciate your cooperation. We would also appreciate if contestants would not harass the hosts.
Such a rule is not currently within the rules of the contest. However, harassing behavior is a clear violation of the rules of the contest. If it seems the questioning behavior progresses to that level, we will enforce it.
Similarly, we will enforce disqualification for other harassing behavior.
