Lol sinek. Faking afk can't be moderated unless if they veg, where you know it is real afk. If one would be suspected of faking afk in a game, they would have to give a reason why they were gone, and that would lead into the grounds of OGI.

It is very rare that being afk is used as an excuse to be town so stop worrying about it idiots. It is a part of the game and it is a vio for mafia only if they fake afk to hammer at the end. That is very well established that if you fake afk to pretend that you will veg or to blitz at kicks then you get a isp vio. Simple and clean. Do not argue about stupid things that don't even matter much.

I think the time has come for me to make an exhaustive thread about all the rules and their applications in their current form as per the standards set by the mods. People and especially mods have no idea how to apply the rules.

btw, not sure when the wording of the rules was changed but faking afk used to include the lines "in order to get lynched as fool"

anyways, faking afk the way you guys are complaining about isn't gonna be a vio because

2. its stupid to make 'fake' afking a vio, that means anyone thats actually afk is gonna be pseudo cleared by anyone because they'll think the guy won't risk a vio for it/etc blah blah and people will vote the other way thinking itll be okay since they can just report

3. you'd basically have to make being afk the vio...which again is stupid because of 1.

Just lilke grs, faking afk should be strictly violated. Life can come into way, thats ok, just like grs, there are some normal suis like normal afks.

But faking afk should not be allowed. It is a bigger crime than trolling and even isping in general. Even in real life mafia game, you cannot read someone who is not talking. How is one supposed to read a completely gone person? How is one supposed to proceed when one person is not answering, even his claim is unknown. If a person needs to fake afk to not get fosed, he must develop himself anyway. It is a f... CHAT room game!

So in conclusion, faking afk must be vio'd like grs: cases where suspicion is high or confirmed that a person faked afk he should get a vio. Just like grs, there will be some wrong vios to really afk people but thats acceptable.

there is such thing as faking afk. it is only OGI if you give proof (which can still be faked) or screenshots (again could be faked).

it is also OGI to use codes outside of game, such as if X is blue I will upvote this comment, if X is orc I will upvote this lobby post, if X is cop I will get setup Y to Z likes (I am surprised that I have only seen this happen once ever)

it should not be OGI to say that you will report someone for something, because you are otherwise encouraging the person to continue breaking the rules.
