First of all you were given gt not for hipfire but grudge hipfire. What this guy did is just hipfire and no grudge. Therefore it is just trolling.
Secondly, in my opinion he should get a note as he is clearly not aware what he should do with the gun. He saw a gun and shot it because he can. He didn't know it was not allowed. The announcement is made for competition.
If i were you i would retract the report so that this new player isn't scared and doesnt point out the flaw in the gun rule. He will argue that the gun bearer has the right to shoot who they want. But since we have come up with some conventions we need to first educate the new players before giving them a vio and making a very bad first impression of moderation and the setup.
Ignore every point I made in my report, including subsequent games where my play doesn't change, just assume my shot was a hipfire, why is there such a massive inconsistency? The solution is to give trolling vios on all cases of hipfiring at mod discretion. Never gt'ing. This'll stop these complaints as well
i don't think sonrio or whoever sinb is would cheat during a vdli round. everyone knows that it's a sacred round. the last time someone got a tainted trophy in vdli, crypto smited them. by smiting himself. you don't ruin vdli.
