Don't you think it is a cop out solution? It is so easy to just ban several accounts on your suspicion and make life easy for the unbanned.
Tell me how many comp games out of 50 are ruined due to blatant trolling? Less than 5. Sometimes zero in a round for a person.
I am not factoring in subtle gt accounts. That even the mods do.
A hard but appropriate solution is to either prove someone is guilty, or let them play.
You can't risk banning even one legit user if it keeps 100 banned users at bay. Besides every banned user is actually a badge of failure for mods. You couldn't keep them in control so you had to ban them.
A good mod team would reason with players when they break rules so that they dont break again. Some people break rules out of anger and protest against mods for some wrong ruling in the past.
If a player breaks the same rule then it is the mod's fault for not handling it properly the first time. Just a blunt judgement is not the job to do.
Besides if the suspension time was longer then may be you could reduce the ban time. People don't mind taking 1 hour suspension because it doesnt bother them. So they break the rule. But they do mind the long ban so they evade.
I'm not aware of all the details either. As far as I know, there's no way she's automatically assumed as the victim after the chatlog- there's got to be something else. I'll add you up there since there's some middle ground we're both agreeing on
The thing that baffled me was I never saw her really push anything, I’m sure she wanted to remain out of the drama so I never sought out comments from her.
But I feel like it was misconstrued as fk, and labelling this guy as a peadophile was the only reason I argued with them for so long
Ahh I see , well the dramatization definitely played a part - I only came around for the after math, while people were making comments about the already banned dude .
What caught my attention was Alex posting in soda’s Thread saying something like “if you’re 20 tryna get nudes from an 18/19 y/o you’re a pig. Then I made a joke, then Jeff replied ... and the rest was history .
However, I don’t think it would have been a big deal if a woman did it, speaking socially and from experience; women sexual assault is praised.
Ie. if you ask most people about the Katy Perry thing they’ll be like “that kid should shut up and be happy”
correct, a lot of people would instinctively just laugh about it. If the dude pushed it as much as this woman did, it'd eventually end up the same. For all the shît we give SJWs, most of them recognise female sexual harassment and society's apathy I'm just saying that his only crime wasn't being a dude
Hey Zhuorb, skip all of the others this one is important tbh.
Let’s discuss what should be done to control or reduce newer accounts in comp with the sole purpose of throwing or cheating. This round is going to collapse very soon as a result so it’s probably important, and you always have good solutions
I advocate a serious change to “verification” of new accounts because moderation isn’t quick or efficient enough to dispose or penalize them. The idea of full proof pastebins to eliminate players of a competition — by itself — is enough indication that maybe the same level of strictness and seriousness should be placed on accounts that enter competitive games. What should the system look like, or should it just forget about it all together?
I'm for moderation, it's just that there's an evident lack of balls in the current team. What we need is someone strong-willed who'd ban these at sight and knows how to deal with the shît they'll get after it.

Let us argue about the meteor rule. I say doc should be allowed to save on meteor. What do you say. Lets argue
vilden's pretty much summarised what I was going to say. The meteor's just an unfortunate (but necessary) mechanic. In meteor situations, the mafia can't NK- it's pretty much the doctor's fault
Set straight Jeff on the other side of that story and tell me any woman pulling the same shît wouldn't get banned after the drama.
I don’t understand what u just wrote dude
if a woman did the same to any man who would stir as much drama up as Jeff, she'd be banned too. I'm arguing that it was the dramatization that got him banned, not his actions. Worse has occurred without anyone batting an eyelid
