I never said I was an expert on pharmaceuticals either lmao idk where u came up with that assumption.

I stated my outside observation which was : drug costed x he bought company and raised drug to y.

Therefore I have 0 empathy for him

I don't think you understand how much money it takes for a drug candidate to reach the market. It represented a fairly easy way of raising money for drug discovery/clinical development.

Also Daraprim was a second line treatment for pcp associated with hiv/aids,
bactrim is the first-in-line treatment for that indication and is usually highly effective, so the total addressable market for daraprim was/is/remains significantly smaller than everybody made it out to be. But yes, continue making a big deal out of something you don't understand lmao!
