godard did a fresh interpretation of king lear that pushed the themes of feelings beyond communication to the forefront and also during the movie a character he plays himself farts on shakespeare it powns havent seen anything else by him though
breathless jean luc godard second godard flick in this thread, not suprising since watching la chinoise was the movie that reignited my passion for movies, hadnt watched movies in a row like this for a while now to the movie itself, good cool godard movie, the tale of how woman take ur life force and will be the death of u, so u shouldnt have sex
im reminded of lenin's words "The Capitalists will sell us the rope with which we will hang them." its that but about petit bourgeois bureaucrats loyalty to institutions great movie, thanks to mani94
the communists were right, also how many communists has channing tatum played so far?? when someone asked if he was a communist, he talked about being american,, idk
i read that the novel its based on its written by an ex cia agent, so its pretty shallow good v bad thing, and tries constantly to hammer that the americans are good and russians are bad, basicly its a spy movie like any other, i like spy movies so i liked it, if u dont like spy movies dont bother watching it also lol at the time of release this is obviously being used as a political agitprop for anti russian sentimentality
