Mostly ignore what I say, because I've never been a mod/rolemod and have barely any idea what's going on, but :D

The grey areas for me are:

CHEATING(where suspects are close friends): Seems as if mods EXPECT the suspects to share conversations at the time to PROVE themsleves innocent, when there really isnt any definitive proof they cheated. For me it seems like; if you don't have an alibi, and you have motive, then vio is more likely than nv. On the other hand, lots of this situation just gets noted, which is perfect response so...

OGI(meta, where suspects are friends): Same as CHEATING above, but I feel like because the violation is less serious mod team isn't as hesitant about vio-ing this one, so less notes and more vio imo, and also potentially more unwarranted vio.

TROLLING/SPAMMING: Feel like if anyone doesn't confirm to standard English, or sends multiple lines of the same thing, they will need to defend themselves to be no vioed. I think mod team default here is vio, but if justification is given by reportee then this is usually fair verdict.

HC: Yami says 50/50, idk. Definitely needs to be more specific guidelines upon what is and what is not acceptable.

ERB: I think most of the time this is done it's said as a meme, but unless the reportee says they were memeing they're likely to be vioed.

BYPASSING SUSPENSIONS: 100% Anyone suspected of this is banned on site without any consideration. Not ideal solution, but at the moment it's probably the best and most effective to deal with GT alts like Pranay.

SHARING ACCOUNT WITH BANNED: Same as above tbh, but with more consideration and less instabanish.

TBH mtlve I think most of the time mod team does use Inno_til_Guilty. BUT THATS JUST MY PENNYS WORTH :)

IMO IT DEPENDS ON THE VIOLATION :D

tldr take with a grain of salt;
Different reports have different vio rates: e.g. Copied Mechanics is a straightforward vio, probably >90% of those reported for it get vio, whereas maybe 50% of those reported for GT get a vio.

So tbh this is half a list "___ until proven ____", but also half a list - and probably better defined - for:
"if you looked at a random report under this category, what would be most likely outcome if the reportee didn't defend themself?",

inno until proven guilty would really work well. the mod assumes they are inno but then they see a copied line and they have proof of guilt so they get the vio....

we need to adopt this system. it would really drop the appeal rate at least and would make people more happy about this site

HC is rng linke... Really depends on the mod dealing w/ the report. Also still hoping that mod abuse rule is a joke cause no one deserves abuse, at most being told when they're in the wrong but never abuse.
