So a new admin bans you because unlike the old admin, they aren't going to let you continue cheating in main lobby and you decide to go to sandbox lobby. Well sandbox isn't all flowers and sunshine kiddo. You have to learn proper Sandbox Etiquette. See, sandbox has no rules necessarily, but, that doesn't mean that you won't be treated like trash if you act like trash, so here is a guide to proper sandbox etiquette.
Don't rehost an already hosted setup
Sandbox may be a popular place these days for new people as they get banned from main lobby because the old staff that let their friends get away with cheating and banned the victims, aren't staff anymore because they grew up and got a life, but, that doesn't mean there are enough players in sandbox to spread out our human resources. If a game is already hosted with a specific setup you want to see people play, don't host the same setup because you like being the host. Most people in sandbox are quite friendly and welcoming to people that don't treat them like crap. Get to know people, but, if you rehost an already hosted setup, odds are you will be targeted for hazing by the community.
Don't host kill night one
If someone is hosting a game, don't host kill them on the first night. If you do this, it will be seen by the community as treating them like trash. This will cause you in turn to be treated like trash and possibly even kicked from future games. If you decide to rehost, you will likely be host killed night one from there on out, especially if there was already a setup open.
Remember lynch priority
Sandbox has to keep itself pure and glorious. It's not easy work, but, in order to make it happen, you have to remember lynch priority. Lynch priority is who dies first no matter what reports anybody has. If you don't remember lynch priority, you will likely be selected "randomly" by the community to test if various weapons have been fabricated. Here is a list of the priority list from first the last, to make it easier to learn.
- People who ask why they are being voted or found suspicious
- People without avatars
- People who had their name come up as the middle name of a caroler report
- People who have an anime avatar
- People who worship the player known as Jamal
- People who speak first during the first day
- Everybody else
Prologue
This is the end of your guide to proper sandbox etiquette. May this guide lead you to the smooth transition and acceptance that your main lobby friends don't want you anymore and that's why they banned you finally after putting up with you all these years. Stay safe and remember kids, don't smoke in bed.
