They paused because of the Flygon thread which -
by looking at the timestamp - was posted about 3 minutes before round ended

So obviously if they wanted to suspend Flygon, round pause

Why did the round not end? Does the round end functionaltiy automatically assume that mods want to pause it? And they they forgot to do it this time so they pre emptively pause themselves?

So let me get this straight, round is on pause to decide to dq a guy who had said to dq him the last like 5 pages despite not cheating. He's in the wrong for playing with people he likes when the entire round there has been maybe 1 table an hour. And now we wait like 3 more days to see 3 more people win the lottery.

Tbf I can be slow when it comes to things like this and would like to make sure I got my stuff correct. Gotta at least give me credit for researching and having my own thoughts instead of just going off what others tell me.
