We havn't been here in a while, but me and Nicole(yrenaa) are finally meeting up after 2 years.
I met her on this site, a little more than 2 years ago. I'm flying to Missouri (where she stays) by feb 9, and will come back by feb 16. I even got the military to agree to that, and the tickets are there.
We'll post some pics here once we meet. Would never imagine I'd date anyone here, let alone fly half the world to. Life's strange.

@yachi At first we thought she would be the one who comes here, since it isn't very easy to get the military to let me go abroad. At the time nicole told me some people were afraid i'll get her in slave trade since im from the middle east. Giving me too much credit, im too messy to get anything like that done.
@illuminati She even made me watch catfish with her, lol. We video'd for long long times, so she is who she is, although one thing I remember is she had this one really cute picture as an avatar and people called her a catfish all the time; She didnt like it, but I loved it, i took it as a compliment.
I think you make a nice point, 2 years was too long, and I wouldn't suggest long distance to most people, it takes a very certain mindset for it to work, and we too had ours ups and downs. The way I see it, one of the biggest pluses of long distance is that you really get to know the person, what they like, what they hate - I feel like I know her so well, and so I'm really looking forward to seeing her in person.
@Tigermom I guess protest is the closet to reality. By the time I decided I'm noavi for good I did it with a few other friends, just to have them quit and nominate myself the king of noavis. I think those were the best times i've had playing this game, wasting hours over hours with little to no knowledge it's end up being something I'd do for so long.
I live in Israel! We're both 20, and thats the first time she'll have anyone visitting her and my first trip to the US ( although unlike her i've been abroad before ). It'll be freezing cold, nothing like what I've had here, yet we'll try to take on some attractions and nice food, and some trips with her roomates. She planned a lot out and havn't told me everything yet, but one thing I know I'm looking for is a landtrip with her to caves that if I recall right ( Correct me here nicole ) date very far back in time.
