Gameplay

The ultimate spy game is back!

Players will compete on an ORG journey across Europe, testing their brains, teamwork, and strategy.

Their goal? To successfully complete a series of mind-twisting challenges, and earn money for a cash jackpot that could reach up to $250.

But one of these "players" isn't really a player at all. They're a double agent, working against the other eleven. Their goal? To sabotage their missions, and to ensure that we give away as little of that $250 as possible.

The winner will be the player who can answer this question: Who is the Mole?

Requirements

Players from all lobbies are welcome.

This will begin in late January and is projected to run 10 weeks. Our goal is to complete two challenges and an elimination every week.

Players will required to add the hosts on Skype; most correspondence with other players will take place there, as well as most challenges. The game will not require you to make audio or camera calls (although you may if you choose).

While you will not need to be online for extended periods of time, we do ask that you remain reasonably active (checking at least once a day). Some challenges will have "live" elements where you will have to be online with other players; we will do our best to work with players to find times that work for everybody. Hello!

The Mole org will be starting soon, and the hosts will be running a viewing lounge throughout the game on Skype.

Should you wish to join, please drop me, (or JohnMiller) a quick pm with your Skype username so we can add you to the list for when the lounge opens. We will likely add you first, and then add you to the actual chat for the viewing lounge on the day of the cast announcement.

i agree that discord is 100 percent more efficent and not broken but old people like skype more


We have not had any problems with Skype, and so are using it again. Most orgs are on Skype anyway, so I'm not sure why it is being seen that this org will be treated any differently. We will look into discord in the future should there be a third season, but for now the decision has been finalized to use Skype. We thank you for your input.

Seconded! The US version was fantastic, but it's been gone since 2008; The Dutch version is every bit as good as the US version--the challenges are great, the contestants are easy to follow, and the directing is BEAUTIFUL.

Just want to say that for those of you who like watching The Mole, the Netherlands has a great version of the show (called Wie is de Mol, or Who is the Mole). There's oftentimes English subtitles if you don't know Dutch. For example, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fAGrKWuo6Zs is the first episode of the most recent season, where they went to Oregon, USA. It's a really great show, and it's very popular in the Netherlands.
