Reason for Luke's ban

Gold trophy winner of round 675, Luke, was just banned and out of the interest of transparency I'm writing this thread to show you why.

He was deleting games using mod powers that we think were given to him by lailai. Before this, the user K/Cam managed to use an exploit to steal a Survivor lobby trophy that he did not earn:

He was also previously disqualified from round 594 when it was found that his points didn't add up correctly with the games that he had played and that games were also disappearing in his favor:

First it was found that Luke had been kudos farming in a lobby he owned called Oblivion, but after further review a few things stuck out.

Notice that the game list isn’t multiple pages and consists of only two player games including both Cam and K. This means that if this list were accurate then they would be the only players with games in this lobby. Yet upon viewing the Top Scorers list there is an alt of his named coffeeandtealover. This means that he had deleted the games so that they wouldn't show in his lobby and had also deleted all other accounts that were on the top scorer’s leaderboard, thus making his K an Cam accounts not show despite having points. For reference, this is the top scorer list for Survivor lobby:

He had to have deleted at LEAST that many accounts to have K and Cam show.

The more heinous part, also relating to how he managed to steal a trophy from Survivor lobby, is that he was able to delete games. No one other than site moderators can delete games. This means he has exploited the site in some way to gain access to site moderator tools.

Moving on from there, I checked the lobbies that were owned and used by his alt coffeeandtealover

Those are all lobbies owned by him and filled with accounts linked to him. If you want to view more of his lobbies, he owns the rounds 573 through 584 (just that we know of) and you can verify this by clicking below and changing the round number link to anything between those two.

Why is lucid the real culprit in all of this?

1. He refuses to do anything to improve the site
2. He made lailai admin after knowing him for less than a month

We suspect that not only was lailai the one who gave mod powers to Luke and didn't log him out after demodding him, but we also suspect that lailai has been the one providing the tokens for all of these lobbies that K has been making.

Lailai was also probably the one purchasing the tokens that S used to give out 1-letter usernames to the mods, which he probably did in an attempt to gain access to their accounts.

It isn't fair to blame any of the other mods here, Charley in particular played a big role in catching Luke today. There's a lot that goes on behind the scenes and Charley works pretty hard to be a diligent cog in keeping the site going.

Lucid could also get off his a$$ and add the ability to change trophy allocation for previous rounds.

I was the one that paused and unpaused the round and allowed him to trophy. I'll accept fault for not catching him and banning him sooner.

I did not actually look into any cheating this round and left that to the role moderators and other site moderators. I had ran this previous round and figured it would not be very fair for me to be dipping my fingers into accusing others of cheating considering I was pretty close to the top (and had hearts to spare that I decided not to play) on my account Forrest.

In the future if there are any suspicions of cheating or people in particular that you believe should be looked into send me a PM and I'll be more than happy to do so.

I do my best to catch these things but I guess one slipped by, sorry!

Nathan and myself discussed dq'ing luke in the past round and it was only because he was getting too high a point pay out in some of his games which other people were too. It wasn't because he was suspected of cheating at the time. This has all just come to light today... so to bash the mods for not noticing something when he got "caught cheating" in the past isn't exactly right.
