Hello people! For those of you who don't know Secret Hitler is a hidden identity/social deduction party game, akin to Mafia and The Resistance. Official rules of the game can be found here.
We actually tried playing Forum Secret Hitler but site getting hacked and rollback that followed killed the game before it started. But Secret Hitler is my favourite game in this genre, so I'd like to try again!
I'll be using 8 player format as I feel it's the most balanced version and allows a faster/smoother gameplay. I'm copying the opening post from eat's thread since he is better than me at documentation anyway and I'll be taking signups in comments!
Anyone else think this fits in a little too well with Schik saying she was a fascist before? Again not 100% on anything but saying that without explaining her reasoning or even mentioning my comment is kinda sus to me
I think we should choose people who chose liberal in the past. I would also like to note that another reason is because withered wants you to do it which makes me want you to not do it.
He's never been chancellor correct? should we choose someone who's confirmed to have already chosen liberal so we don't get screwed and accidentally elect Hitler? Not saying Clock is Hitler but I'd like to keep the chance low
Bad news: I'm stupid and didn't realize I couldn't nom Schik. I'm going to go ahead and nom HighSpace because he seems the realist in here while everyone else is just posting short blurbs.
Schik did play a liberal card when given the choice between fascist and liberal. And from his point of view, withered/KMO are confirmed fascists. I'm currently inclined to believe him because both withered and KMO don't seem particularly townie to me right now.
The problem with this is that we don't know whether you're town or not, so you could be using this opportunity to frame withered. And if she is fascist and plays fascist card, we could now lose by accidentally electing hitler, so I'd rather avoid this scenario altogether and nominate people that are likely to play liberal cards. Like Clock.
Talking from the viewpoint of everyone, ain't i the best bet for chancellor? Not saying i'm clear, but i'm basically the only one who hasn't been fos as fascist yet.... Or highspace I guess but he's gonna be president next anyway. If we can get a liberal up next we'll have 4 more turns to get a liberal and win before they fill the fascist one, so i'd say it's kind of crucial point, I wouldn't take risks
I think that because I investigated her and said that she's a fascist, there's a strong chance that she is a fascist and you have other choices who weren't pinned as fascists so you should go for them
Here's an idea, tell me if it's stupid. How about I choose withered as chancellor and give her a chance to prove she's a lib. Assuming I have the option, I'll give her the choice between a fascist and a liberal, that will give her a chance to prove whether she's lib or fas
