what gives people incentive to switch to XEM other than investing?

Arcbell says Exactly, Im pretty sure that its doomed to fail or is going to be way ahead of its time. Regardless I believe the best investment right now is one of the "regular" cryptocurrencies, like XEM for example.
I mean of course it's very technical and resists instant widespread adoption its an entirely new series of protocol layers

Arcbell says The whole idea of creating decentralized "super computer" with a bunch of applications on it with a very limited way to monetize it is not that appealing to the regular consumer, nor developer. I think its a bit too technical right now, and might see the light in the future, but not in its current iteration.
