I would like to know what people are thinking when they decide that logic is a construct of what your circle jerk wants. That wasn't a question. When it comes to scum hunting, sometimes people admit they are mafia in the game and nobody pays attention. Suddenly one guy paid attention and somehow people aren't done "scum hunting" after they find the scum. People hammer wrong after mafia was already in every logical way possible, guilty in front of everybody. To make matters worse, the person who saw this is punished before anybody else, merely for going against everybody else because it was the correct thing to do if you were playing to win the game.
