ohhhhhh man this is a real good q. my thoughts on fate and free will etc. are really complex, so much that it's hard for me to pin it down let alone put it into writing.
the idea of free will is a very romantic idea, but to me so is the idea of fate. so what i hypothesize is a sort of combination of the two: that there are countless avenues for which your fate could be, but you set the course with your free will. sort of like a choose your own adventure book, but with your life. the butterfly effect kind of comes into play here too in that one decision can alter the course of your destiny either negligibly or significantly depending on what it is. i don't know if any of that is correct or even remotely plausible. i really like that idea and that's how i'd most want god or the universe or whatever is the greater being out there to be running things
i was contemplating doing a writeup in my thread that was sort of on that subject but couldn't find the right words. basically i dont really have one because when i did them i was really bad at keeping them, but i'm just gonna try to better myself in every way possible and really work on being the best version of myself for this year
