I think he might have been trying to give a whole lot of bad reads at the start so he's off the Merlin radar, and then come in when town was in bad shape, claim Percival so he gets town following him and actually gets some good missions through.
The big thing for me was he tunnelled HighSpace for the first half of the game, then Highspace gets put on a mission with a double fail, and Highspace is suddenly good?
um i think arisuu is merlin cos if u read her earlier posts, whenever someone like tr one of our maf team she would like out a 'read' saying they're blatant mafia. like she did it w u in the beginning. but i'm the person that merlin can't like see tho n she said i was maf a couple of times?? so i could b ocmpletely wrong tho who do you think

Hm, maybe not actually. In your POV, I'm scum. Meaning Scott, the self-revealed scum, put three evil peeps on M2, a mission that only needed 1 fail.
Maybe Scott had initially intended to pass the mission and let their fellow scum Till fail the mission, but changed their mind later which is why they put a fellow scum on the mission to possibly bus Till.
If I, a scum in your pov was also added to the team, do you genuinely think Scott thought it was optimal to put 3 scums on M2? There could've been 3 fails on the mission if I was scum too.
Town would practically have a win right there as 3/4 scum would be revealed. If Merlin hid well enough, it'd be a swift victory for town with Perc stating which teams to be sent each time.
Scott doesn't seem like a goof to me and you guys, who have been on this site for longer would definitely understand how Scott plays. Scott wouldn't do something like that or at least, they didn't this time because ik I'm not scum.
If it's not the mission but in fact, my lines that you find scummy, I would like you to point a few out.
Okay I'm going to out myself as assassin here since I'm pretty sure I'm not getting on this mission.
