Making not stupid but funny threads

about 7 years

So, i'm not the sharpest tool in the shed to give advice about this since some of my threads do end up being more stupid than funny and, others are just pure copypastas, but i have learn from upvotes and downvotes what's good and bad. What is funny may vary from reader to reader, however there are many very common mistakes that make a stupid article more than funny in the vast majority of cases that it is convenient to keep in mind which we detail below. If you've spent 10 seconds writing, 5 people might like it. If you've spent 10 minutes, maybe 50. The amount of work needed to write a fun and extensive article may be on par with Wikipedia. Stories close to reality are often more fun than fictitious ones. If you have this in mind when you write, the result will be much better, keep in mind that fixing fiction with reality is far more fun than just fiction. A longer, but cleverly crafted article is better than many little meaningless stories. We do not have time to spend our strength on something that does not make sense. We know that absurd stories are fashionable, but we must try to raise the index of indifference that counts our society. Being silly, tasteless or rude does not have to make you funny.- In many lame jokes of formula, and in rare examples, being a fool is what makes some jokes fun. But there is no reason to act like a fool in every sentence. Being rude is not synonymous with being fun. Insulting like a sailor does not make you funny. Writing as a child who does not know how to spell or write does not help it make a more fun or informal thread. In fact, it loses grace. if it's fun for you and a few more friends, the rest of the world does not give a sheet. Please do not include jokes that only a few people understand. And also, if you saw any good joke on tv, series, etc do not just copy it here.

TL;DR version:
Something coherent and close to the truth is much more fun than nonsense in the vast majority of cases.

Try to give your writing a consistent style. In general, looking serious is more fun than trying to be fun.

Spend time with your threads. Humor, like art, it's 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration.
