Hello there! Welcome to the Daily Thread, where you are free to report back to the lobby on anything at a day to day basis!
This can range from a daily song, quote, trend, news, anything really as long as it is appropriate! Just know that you must limit yourself to posting about one topic per day!
The positives of this is that it could allow us the opportunity to not only have something to post, but potentially learn something new- whether it be a miscellaneous fact or just whatever the next big thing in movies or fashion or the like is!
Feel like you have something neat to contribute on the daily? Wait no more because Daily Thread is here!
Genre: Comedy/Action/Rom-Com Sub or Dub: Both Jakes Rating (of 10): 10 Notes: One of my most recent watched anime, as someone who doesn't watch action i was surprised to like this, i love it for its amazing voice acting in the dub, the plot, and the comedy-romance is top notch :^)
Genre: School Life/Comedy/Drama/Afterlife Sub or Dub: Both Jakes Rating (of 10): 9 Notes: An amazing anime, i didn't expect to love it as much as i did, i expected just another classic anime with a few laughs, instead i got overwhelmed by an amazing plot, got attached to characters and had many feels !

Daily Vent #2
I didn't get to take the PSAT today, but my parents are making arrangements for me to take it before next year. Also, they turned in our cable to save money so now I have to rely on the Kodi program on our Amazon Fire TV to watch Survivor on CBS. But it turns out that CBS doesn't work on Kodi and in order to see Survivor, I need to wait a whole day so I can stream it on Terrarium TV. SCRM!!! #firstworldproblems

Today at my high school was PSAT registration day and I forgot to register for it. The PSAT is on Wednesday, and now my parents and I are trying to figure out how to get into before it is too late, but I'm afraid it is by now. SCRM!!!!

Daily Poem #435
Charles Bukowski "I Met A Genius"
I met a genius on the train today about 6 years old, he sat beside me and as the train ran down along the coast we came to the ocean and then he looked at me and said, it's not pretty.
The dinosaur with the longest name is Micropachycephalosaurus (“small thick-headed lizard”). Its fossils are usually found in China, and is a ceratopsian dinosaur. Despite it having the longest name, it is one of the smallest dinosaurs found!
Daily anime recommendation: Akagami no Shirayukihime/Snow White with The Red Hair
Genre: Romantic Comedy Sub or Dub: Both Jakes Rating (of 10): 8 Notes: not everyone's cup of tea, but a very funny and romantic anime, if you enjoy a canon which faces many barriers, look no further!
people can still make their own if they want their own specialized thread, if you want to post stuff with the mind of 'look everyone this is what i want to share with you all!!' then this is probably the place to do it (and not the lobby wall LineLiar)
Just a question but does the creation of this thread mean the death of the other daily threads already out there or can people still continue with their own dedicated daily(ish) thread(s)?
I understand why this was made but I just think it's not done correctly as I feel like this thread is almost sure to die if the latter but overly limiting if the former.
Edit: I also can't really imagine this deserving to be in announcements but w.e that's not really important.
i'm grumpy and i almost told this woman to eat rocks bc she told me have a nice day but she seemed REALLY smirky about it like SHE KNEW i was grumpy. but i held back

quote of the day #2:
“Everybody has a secret world inside of them. I mean everybody. All of the people in the whole world, I mean everybody — no matter how dull and boring they are on the outside. Inside them they've all got unimaginable, magnificent, wonderful, stupid, amazing worlds... Not just one world. Hundreds of them. Thousands, maybe.” ― Neil Gaiman, A Game of You
