In this game, you must use your mouse to keep your tray up as long as you can, staying balanced. The colored balls will make your score higher, but will make it harder for you to remain balanced. The houseguest with the highest score will win the Power of Veto!

For those that aren't familiar with the format, the Power of Veto gives someone the ability to remove a houseguest from nomination. A nominee may use it on themselves. If someone is removed from the block, the HoH will choose someone else to be nominated in their place. If someone who is not nominated uses it on a nominee, they cannot be renominated. Only 6 houseguests compete: the HoH, nominees, and 3 other houseguests, selected by random draw.

SCORING

For the results of the game, the only thing that will be revealed is a numerical score for each houseguest. This score will be decided by taking the heavier arm of your scale, and subtracting the lighter arm of the scale once all weights have been placed. Therefore, a perfectly balanced scale will have a score of ZERO.

In the event of a tie, we will also ask each Houseguest to send in a tiebreaker with their submission. The tiebreaker is:

What will be the overall score you think you will get at the end of the challenge?

If two or more players are tied, the player who’s tiebreaker is closest to the actual number will win. If there is still a tie, then be ready.

Please submit your weight placements, and your tie breaker, by Sunday, October 8th by 10PM EDT. Once you have submitted, you may not alter your submission in any way. If you do not submit before this time limit, you will receive a strike.

HOH #1: THE SCALES OF JUSTICE

In the middle of the living room sit ten beautiful two-armed scales, each engraved with one of your names on them; one arm is black, the other is white. Next to them are ten small velvet black bags, embroidered with your initials. Curious, each of you peek inside, and find TEN small weights:

Four 1oz Weights.
Three 3oz Weights
Two 5oz Weights.
One 10oz Weight.

As of right now, everyone’s scales are standing in perfect balance, with no weights placed upon them.


To win the first Head of Household of the season, you will need to keep your scale in as perfect equilibrium as possible.

Here is how this challenge will work:

Each of you will receive a message in your Diary Room as to the COLOUR of the weights you have received; either black or white.

You will submit in your Diary Room on whose scale you will place each of your weights on. If you are playing a WHITE weight, it will be played on the right side of a houseguest’s scale. If you are playing a BLACK weight, it will be played on the left side of a houseguest’s scale. With your submission, you must submit a tie breaker, described below.

You must use all ten weights in your possession.

You are able to place weights on your own scale.

You are not allowed to place more than ten ounces worth of weight on a single houseguest. For example, you can not place any more weights on the housemate you will be giving your one 10oz weight to.

There is an equal weight total of black and white in play for each of the houses.

You are allowed to discuss this challenge with your fellow houseguests. Whether you choose to tell the truth is up to you.

So last night both houses were given a competition for a special power.

Since we are at the two houses stage of the game, there will be minimal amount of logs posted here for now, so other than results for competitions/nominations/etc don't expect that many early-game logs! (we may post some eventually)

The twenty of you were together until recently. But then, *The Incident* happened. Sadly, the twenty of you passed away.

Housemates, you have been judged. Whilst the ten of you are not entirely evil, we have found that your deceitful and corruptive natures have led to you living impure lives with much sin. Your time on Earth has come to an end, and you are now facing the depths of *Hell*. Prepare yourselves for this torturous afterlife, as it certainly will not be easy. Know that you could have been with your opponents, in Heaven, a blissful place. Take this time to prepare houseguests, and to repent.

However, this selection is only temporary. The ten of you will play your own Big Brother game, and the people you evict will remain deceased and in Hell, with no chance at resurrection. After a few weeks, the ones of you who still remain in the Big Brother game, will go back to the *Purgatory*.

The other ten participants? They will be in a similar situation. But, in *Heaven*. The ones of you who make it farther into the game in Hell, will eventually meet up with those who make it far into the game in Heaven, in the Purgatory.

The game will go on during your stay in the Purgatory. And the winner of Sandbox Big Brother 3, will be able to come back to *Life*.
