serious message for mods

deletedabout 7 years

I would like all mods to read this, as I hope to eventually patch things up with you guys.

I am writing to convey my apology for my reporting behavior last round.

I opened a lot of reports last round as I was running. At the time I believed all of my reports were valid with clear explanations. These reports were not opened in order to waste moderator time. My run was ruined by these accounts, but I thought that if I reported them than maybe you could stop them from throwing against someone else a later round. I was wrong to handle this situation in this way.

Many players disrupted my games (as a disliked player, no one wanted me to trophy). I reported and fought for each case instead of compiling a bin of all affected games and opening one single report. That was my mistake. I cannot blame mods for seeing me as a nuisance for this mistake, but I did not know that I should have made a bin. I didn’t know what to do, so I took out my frustration on the mod team. I tilted -- opening “joke” reports and gave up on the system.

So going forward I will try to be more cautious when opening up a report, so I hope that others will view my reports as more credible. If I do something strange that bothers you again, like spamming reports, just mail me and I will stop.

i think if you want to gain respect, before challenging mod's decisions, first ask players who know the rules way better than anyone else.. like pranay zhuorb giga bigbadboy devante. just send them a f'ucking pm. ask me if you want and be concise

and then just accept what any of these players tell you. don't even need to ask mods. just stop arguing your case with mods without asking someone else first. if someone like zhuorb says he agrees w/ the mod's decision then you ought to as well cuz he's smart/unbiased
