I have been in the leadership of many groups online, and I would often get mad and quit over complaints (to only get put back in place again without permission lol). On the other side there were always the people that would be like ignore them you are the best. I could see that the complaints could be a reason that some quit. You should not be a mod if you can't handle complaints or working fairly with people that you cant stand.
That being said you need a good work environment within the leadership for it to work, at least in the past it was not the case from what I have heard from x-mods. I mean just read the skype bin in the other threads. Charley and Jess completely beat up stayaway for not working enough in front of me. He actually does a lot of reports if you look into it. Like do you really need to beat up your colleague there for helping cut your work load? You want to do his 76 reports from last week too? If I was a mod and doing a lot of reports like this, but getting told off that I don't do anything, I would totally have quit...

hello, again, have been a mod during multiple times of em. anytime someone doesn't want to be a mod they can go "hey, demod me bye" and guess what happens? do me a favor, and count how many mods we currently have. this is the lowest it's ever been. i'm looking at the mod skype chat and it says "6 participants" that don't include me. and no, a good mod team can't compensate for no admin because not having an admin means not having the powers of an admin. personally everytime i've quit being a mod was either because my work/schoolload were heavy or i was sick of helping run lucid's site when he gives 0 shits about it. do you know how many people, even friends have messaged me saying "hey stop modding" or forum threads i've seen saying "mods are sods" "mods suck" "i hate mods" "mods need to self reflect"? that might be a more logical answer to your question of why all the mods quit than you provided.

Why are there no mods in the first place? The existing mods need to really self-reflect and not just try to blame this on lucid and the admins.
Why did all the mods quit? Maybe there is a problem with the environment in the mod group? I have heard this from many x-mods in fact. Its amazing what some of them have done to get out of being a mod. Shamu grs to get banned so they did not have to mod intentionally. Good girl Pony gave her account to a banned user out of spite for this site. So many mods have just quit.
Read the skype chat in one of my bins and see how poorly the treated stayaway there and in front of a guest. Like maybe you need to look in a mirror and reflect on the fact that no one wants to stay a mod.....
Yeah there is no admin, but a good mod team would be able to compensate for that. Maybe there is no admin also for the same reason that all the mods quit?
