WHODUNNIT SEASON 1- SATURDAY, OCTOBER 7th @7:30PM EST
Contestants... Welcome to Old Madeley Manor.
I am your gorgeous housekeeper, Sodadoda1, and I will also be your host for the first season of Whodunnit. Up for grabs is the title, a cute trophy to place on your profile, and $250,000 virtual dollars!
You have been invited to Old Madeley Manor by the estate-holder, whose name remains anonymous, for a lavish party to celebrate the the recent election of Emmanuel Macron to the position of President of France.
You pull up to Old Madeley Manor in a 1924 Bentley, sent personally by the estate-holder themself. The colourful garden, cobblestone paved driveway and large windows of the Manor immediately impress you, as you walk through the large archway doors to greet the other 13 guests. You spend the night chatting.
As you are unpacking your Louis Vuitton suitcase in your privately assigned quarters, you hear a crash from the main foyer. You run to whatever made that sound. The 13 other guests stand crowded in the large foyer, gasping. As you push your way through to the front, you close your eyes. As you open them, you jump. On the floor lies Sally. Dead.
HOW THE GAME WILL RUN
THE DEATH
Every morning, a body will be discovered, somewhere on the Manor grounds. Every guest will be given a short description of exactly what can be seen upon first glance.
THE INVESTIGATION
Upon discovery of the death, every player will have the option to visit either... THE CRIME SCENE, THE LAST KNOWN WHEREABOUTS, or THE MORGUE. It is in one of those three locations where players will discover a little more about how the crime occurred, and maybe even the killer themselves.
THE DISCUSSION
After the investigation phase, guests will have the opportunity to share information with other guests, if they choose to do so.
THE KILLERS CLUE
After the discussion has taken place, all guests will be given one clue, directly from the killer. Solve this clue and you may be given additional information which may lead you directly to both the happenings of the crime, and maybe even the killer.
THE SUBMISSION
During the submission phase, each guest will individually submit a written description of... 1) How the crime occurred, and 2) The killer. Every submission will be rated on a scale from 1-5 on the closeness of the submission to the reality of how the daily crime occurred.
THE VERDICT
The two players with the two lowest scores will receive 'Scared' cards, whilst every other player with receive "Spared" cards. The two players who received 'Scared' cards will be targets for the following morning.
Final 3
In order to win the first season of WhoDunnit, guests that make it to the final 3 will play a medley of challenges. This, in combination with the number of times you correctly guessed the killer, and your score from each day, will be used to determine your positioning overall.
PLEASE NOTE
- The Killer will not know their identity. This is to ensure there is an equal opportunity for everyone to win. This also means that players may guess themselves as the killer during the submission.
- As the game has a set structure, there will be no more than 14 spots available. So ensure you reserve early!
