Squids are powerful personalities that can only be ‘checked and balanced’ by themselves. They are highly capable, intelligent individuals who seem to know everything. Generally good natured, they also have a hidden inner dark side which resides deep within themselves. No one is allowed into this secret place, often not even themselves. Squids will even try to bury painful truths within themselves in order to avoid dealing with difficult emotions and situations.
Squids are not confrontational. Like their animal namesake, they are mysterious, powerful, and intriguing individuals who, despite their strength and intimidating presence, are more likely to escape from a difficult or dangerous situation than stay and fight. Except of course, when it comes to finding prey. Those born under this sign, as well as those in the animal kingdom, can go on the offensive with such speed and skill that others don’t realize what has happened until it is all over. Also like the animal, those born under this sign are often categorized as aggressive when they are really more curious. The sheer power and self-control they hold inside radiates out to others and can even scare people away.
I'm Rhinoceros but that doesn't seem like me at all. Other than taking risks, being strong and determined, I really don't find "impatient" and "aggressive" to really describe me lol
Those born under the sign of the Chipmunk are restless, self-reliant, and expressive. They value honesty and integrity in others and are quick to judge those who don’t live up to their expectations. Members of this sign require social interaction with others who can keep up with their active minds, which can be challenging to find. They tend to be opinionated and like to gossip about others, but simultaneously have a deep fear of being judged by others.
Chipmunks have an easy time making money and an even easier time spending it. For all of their success, they end up having little to show for it as they are constantly buying new to ys, gadgets, and clothes. The curious Chipmunk gets excited by new releases of movies, music, books, and technology. Living in and enjoying the current moment is more important to them than thinking about the future, which can have good and bad effects. On the bright side they tend to enjoy their lives more than their stressed-out peers, but their impulsive nature can also lead them to make poor decisions in regards to their health, personal relationships, and bank accounts.
It is perhaps because of this that Aardvarks are very opinionated. They simply cannot understand why everyone doesn’t work as hard as they do and have little sympathy for anyone who chooses pleasure over ambition. This is quite possibly the least attractive trait of this strong-willed sign. While their nature is to be supportive and sympathetic to their family and friends, they secretly can’t stand it when people don’t take their advice. At the same time, others often look at the Aardvark and see someone who is stressed out, controlling, and conceited, which only makes them want to listen to their advice less.
Most members of this sign will reach a point where they have to slow down. Everyone needs to find balance, and this is particularly true with this sign. At some point (usually after they have reached some of their big goals), they will realize that success and victory are not enough to create their own happiness. They need to make time to relish the simple joys in life. don’t have to be so black or white.
Overall, this combination (Capricorn in the year of the Rat) is typically a very good one. The Rat keeps Capricorn socially aware and Capricorn gives the Rat an outlet for all of its otherwise nervous energy. When balanced, the sign of Aardvark becomes a sign of quick-witted ambition, drive with purpose, and an unstoppable work ethic. When unbalanced, though, Aardvarks can be workaholics driven by the fear of failure, or hermits who see the world as both a threat to their well-being and as an enemy to be conquered. Aardvarks do best when they can integrate themselves and their goals with their surroundings and succeed from inside the structured social environment.
Ultimately, Aardvarks are survivors first. Like their animal namesake, they don’t like to put parameters on their hunting grounds, preferring to go where the most opportunity is available at any given time. They aren’t the types to ever feel like their job is done and will claw and scratch their way to even the smallest advancements. Aardvarks don’t rely on luck to get by - they rely only on themselves.
The biggest life challenge for Corgis will be learning how to live independently, which is ironic because both partner signs (Virgo and Rooster) are highly independent signs. Those born under this sign must understand that there are many roles to play in life and there must be some sense of fulfillment outside of the caretaker or managerial role. One cannot view life objectively if they never step away from their normal life long enough to see the big picture. It is far too easy for Corgis to lose perspective this way and take themselves and themselves far too seriously.
