Hey i'm going to be hosting a little forum game / roleplay / storymode kinda deal with intrigue, adventure, and a bunch of world building.
It'll be a sort of open world, player's choice kinda deal where you can make parties with other people.
I haven't worked everything out yet but if you'd like to play then just post here or pm me or something, feel free to ask other people to play with you and create a party.
You can probably play it really casually or seriously, your choice.
I'll give you a few choices to start off with and we can go from there.
Will probably start in a week or so depending on how many people are interested.
You can go ahead and do that if you want, or you can just think about it for now. If two more people haven't signed up by the end of today, I'll send out the PM for character creation tonight. No, we're not using characters sheets but mainly just background lore and any skills you might have picked up already.
How do they work? Let me explain some lore. It depends on the type of monster, and where you are. The world is full of towns and places, monsters may be common in some places and rare in others. In some places they might be considered normal.
But of course, monsters aren't always the main villians. Sometimes humanoids can be worse.
I'm currently designing a map and a few basic points of interest, once the game starts in a few days I'll show you all and explain the world.

The game will start in a few days without warning. I have now begun creating the playing world, and 17 players is a great amount. I could still fit in a few more, though, so feel free to join if you see this and you haven't.
Players, think about who what kind of character you want to play as. The setting will be a mix of medieval renaissance themes with many diverse areas and possible background. You can either create the entire character from scratch, give a basic idea and me and you can work together to make it, or just let me create one for you. A few ideas to get your light bulb sparking are
-A merchant who specializes in selling dark magic
-An acolyte given a mission by a god or demon
-A vampire hunter seeking revenge on the vampire that killed his family
Don't limit yourself. If you think of something super interesting, feel free (even obligated) to play it. The cast of characters should be as diverse as possible.
Also think about if you want to party up with other people. I'm making the party cap at 5 players, if you want to form one then be prepared to explain why your characters are together in the first place. You'll be able to adventure together with the people in your party.
