Linkin Park (along with MCR) were legit staples into my childhood - adolescent age. I can't tell you how many times Linkin Park helped me feel better when things weren't going well. God, this music was the kind of thing that saved people. I'm so sad Chester is gone.

Call me a mainstreamer but this will always be my favorite song. RIP you beautiful man.

What's in the eye
Can you tell me
Watching the time pass me by
There's so much locked up inside

Don't go too fast, my friend
Or you'll lose control

Don't go too fast, my friend
Or you'll lose control

What's in the eye
That I cannot catch
Is it me I want to know
Why it's so hard to let go

this is actually sad, as In the End has been my favorite song for years, and my dad has always been promising to take me to an LP concert.

If it wasn't for Linkin Park I would have never gotten into rock/punk/whatever.

For all the love I had for this group from 2000-2010, it's a shame that they never even attempted to go back to their roots. I get that people change and grow, but they literally put punk rock on the map for millions, and helped rock transcend the racial barrier.

How is this an entertainment forum?! I understand that he is an artist but death is not funny!

This is clearly a joke post poking fun at how entertainment = happy/fun but this forum being about an artist death

i'm bummed because it definitely won't be as exciting as plagiarizing heinously corny tweets about someone literally dying
i literally came up with it as soon as i read about him passing

and i really dont care if u believe that or not, but im trying to show you how ridiculous you sound talking it up the way you are.

anyway we put on hybrid theory at work and cried a bit, hugged a bit, sang a few solos, and then went back to work. perhaps the most tragic part is that his music feels even more appropriate given his passing in this way

i appreciate you finishing my thoughts, but i didnt want to offend you
the only way you could offend me is by denying that you have a tinfoil hat grafted onto your scalp
