adblock is what is ruining EM. You guys aren't "killing" it like a lot of people always joke about, really all of it is lucid doesn't want to work on a site that isn't raking in the dough, and updating it in the past hasn't generated much change.
I can't think of anything that embodies sandbox users better than voluntarily sitting at your computer for thirty seconds watching the same mind numbing commercials every time you want to see a YouTube video
if it were up to lucid this site would have a competition once every 3-4 months, the top 3 would consist of lolumad, fading, and publicenemy, and mods would be allowed to armchair psych ban anyone who criticizes the site format

the people who make your YouTube videos and feed you this bullsh*t aren't hurting for cash. Even if they were, all they're doing is justifying dumbing down their platform and wasting the time and headspace of the people they pretend to appreciate for personal profit
