Competitive Requirements

I was going to try to run next round on a theme alt to see if I could rediscover what I liked about this game, then after I made maybe my favorite account of all time I realized you have to play unranked and ranked to play competitive.

I am straight up NEVER going to do that. Never. I'm 100% sure I'm not the only one who feels that way. For the majority of the competitive lifespan if you had a comp-ready main your alt could join the competition with zero points, and there were a lot more people playing back then.

Remove the requirement, or at the very least let me pay 5 dollars to bypass it.

I realize lucid doesn't like to code for this website anymore, but this literal 2 lines of code that was mistakenly implemented under the false premise that it would stop gamethrow alts has:

A. Axiomatically costs him notable revenue

B. Makes secret alts a f*cking chore and

C. Could be monetized by anyone with an eye for a profit.

the requirement is there to prevent notorious nefarious banned user sinead from throwing/cheating in games

Why on earth would you be opposed to alts? You'd rather me win another trophy talking about my ex-girlfriend?

You know who this requirement never stopped from playing in a round? ABC, who is unbanned and won and defeated the mods.
